Nifty Knickers are a pull up cover made from upcycled wool sweaters that we hand-pick for softness and absorbency. These are great for economic cloth diapering as you can use the longies in place of pants and pajamas.

For a custom fit for your little one we ask for some measurements. ALL measurements should be taken with the diaper ON.
• Rise: from bottom of crotch to top of waist
• Waist: around the waist
• Inseam: from bottom of foot to upper inner thigh
We love that our Nifty Knickers are so unique. There are no two exactly alike. We use the sleeves of handpicked upcycled wool sweaters to make our longies. When we purchase the wool sweaters to upcycle we are very very picky about the wool that is chosen. We only use wool that is at least 80% wool and the rest has to be a natural fiber. So you know you are getting a natural cover!
Wool is easy to care for. Wool naturally changes the pee to salt water so it dries clean with a bit of salt residue. When the wool gets too much of a salt build-up you must wash/re-lanolize your cover. This usually occurs every few weeks, (or when soiled) depending on use. Please allow to air dry between uses.

Wool is anti-bacterial and anti-microbial, which helps it to not retain odors. It can absorb up to 40% of its weight in liquid and it allows the body to breathe. It also acts as a natural fire retardant. These qualities of wool make it an excellent choice for a natural and oh so comfy diaper cover. Wool has the wonderful ability to regulate body temperature, it will keep your child warm in winter and cool in summer. Making it the perfect choice for diaper covers any time of the year. Used for generations!
